Ozu

I wrote 3,300 words on Yasujiro Ozu and Tokyo Story's canonization. I would like you to read them. There is no dedication in the piece, but it would surely go to David Bordwell.

I just wanted to say that this is a terrific piece, and I can relate in some ways (my white whale would have to be Hitchcock), but most of all, the writing is deeply-felt. Thank you for a wonderful primer to Ozu's work (even if I don't agree with them, unique points of view on canonized film makers are always interesting).
